Statoil contracts Reinertsen to ready Kristin
for tie-in with Wintershall's Maria field

March 24, 2015   + + +   Statoil has contracted Reinertsen to prepare the Kristin platform for tie-in with Wintershall’s Maria field. The Statoil/Wintershall partnership aims to develop the Maria field as a subsea facility with two subsea templates.

Installation work in the Norwegian Sea is scheduled to be between 2016 and 2018, with production scheduled to start in 2018.
