In the first quarter of 2006 WIRTH International has been awarded a contract for the supply of three High Pressure Mud Pumps type TPK 1600 CL-US. Purchaser is KCA-Deutag, Houston, for the Middle East onshore rig project T 209/210. 

The belt driven mud pump is the first US manufactured unit and well known to the industry for performance and reliability. It is powered by double rear mounted DC motors 1600 HP.
