ThyssenKrupp Xervon GmbH, headquartered in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, is being formed as of October 1, 2005, through the merger of the internationally operating PeinigerRöRo Group and ThyssenKrupp Plant Services. The outcome of the alliance is one of the biggest international services providers for the process industry.

ThyssenKrupp Xervon stands for advanced services in the (petro)chemical, power and other areas of the processing sector.
The Group, a member of ThyssenKrupp Services AG, Düsseldorf, is represented throughout Germany besides having international bases in Austria, Benelux, Spain, Scandinavia, the Middle East, and Asia. In line with the local character of its activities, ThyssenKrupp Xervon manages business in and across regions through locations.

The multi-trade complexity of its services has prompted ThyssenKrupp Xervon to go for increased the Institute ManTis (Management Training in Services), an organization organized to train employees worldwide in the management of services modules. As result, advanced training practiced hitherto in multi-trade site supervision and management for the basic services of scaffolding, insulation, and corrosion gains an added dimension.

The range of services reaches from basic scaffolding, insulation, surface technologa and piping via machinery and plant engineering to instrumentation and the flexible incorporation of these skills into so-called service modules right down to the takeover of all-in location services such as at the chemical industry parks in Münchsmünster and Cologne-Merkenich. The operation of such sites includes budgeting, maintenance planning and execution, infrastructural services, the operation of auxiliary plant such as nitrogen and steam distribution units or complete clarification plants. ThyssenKrupp Xervon also has over 30 years of experience in the maintenance of petrochemical plants and in carrying out shutdowns on behalf of the process industry
