However, for some clients, seeing is believing. This is one of the reasons why ROSEN engineers came up with the Optical Observation Device (OPD).
The OPD is a unique innovation that puts a high quality camera complete with its own lighting support in a robust ROSEN pipeline inspection unit. The device can make an in-line visual inspection of a pipeline, capturing the visual information on a built-in recording unit for review later. The visualization can be used for a variety of purposes like verification of pipeline cleaning or optical investigations of dents, installations, fittings and repairs. It is an ideal solution for customers who would like to perform a baseline inspection of a pipeline for dents, cleanliness, status of the installation and the presence of any water. The OPD works in any pipeline ranging from 16" to 56" containing transparent products. The customer needs are met through the captured video content showing what the inside of the pipeline looks like. With the OPD it is just like being in the pipeline.
