Maintenance is the largest OEM independent depot licensed for
maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft engines and aeroderivative
gas turbines. Within the MTU Maintenance Group, MTU Maintenance
Berlin-Brandenburg focuses on repair and overhaul of industrial gas
turbines and small aircraft engines. With an optimum combination of
expertise and innovation, MTU Maintenance is one of the world’s most
powerful service providers. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of MTU Aero

Overhaul services for GE gas turbines LM2500 (+), LM5000 and LM6000 (all

MTU
Maintenance offers repairs, scheduled maintenance, field service
inspections and other services on single occasions as well as within
long term service contracts. Over 80% of all repair work is carried out
within the MTU Maintenance group. The MTU Maintenance test cell is one
of the largest in the world and accommodates turbines up to 55MW. The
facility is one of only two capable to test LM2500 and LM6000 under real
