MENCK GmbH provides foundations, anchor and mooring points to the on- and onshore industry, across the globe, for over 135 years. Today's, our core competency is in the operation, design and manufacture of hydraulic hammers for driving large piles.

The MENCK MHU underwater hammer, combined with the patented submersible electric-hydraulic power pack (MUP) has made driven pile solutions in ultra-deepwater. MENCK Engineering is developing systems for waterdepths beyond 3000 meters.


World Record Holder: On August 16, 2001, MENCK reinforced the world record in deepwater pile driving. During the Nansen Project a pile was driven in a water depth of 1186 m (3,891 feet) in the Gulf of Mexico.

MENCK is also a leader in the piling of foundations for windmills and bridges.

For deepwater installations, the offshore hydraulic hammer is equipped with a Girdle Typ Underwater PowerPack, which is wrapped around the hammer.
