On the market for "Rotary Steerable Systems" (RSS) Smart Drilling GmbH is one of the first providers of systems for 6" drilling diameter with its ZBE 2000 and SCOUT 2000 for vertical and directional drilling projects.

The directional drilling system SCOUT 2000, a "closed-loop" RSS, has especially been developed for the oil and gas industry.

The SCOUT 2000 can be used for 6'' well bores. The know-how won till now also makes an expansion of this system for greater drilling bores possible.

A system-integrated electronic fit for 125 °C has been developed especially for the recording and processing of navigational and system data.
The system is designed to permit surface downlinking of drilling target changes and also allows for reprogramming of downhole data sequencing if required.
