Pipeline
Technology - New international exhibition platform for pipeline systems
and networks at HANNOVER MESSE 2006 For next year’s HANNOVER MESSE Deutsche Messe AG is organizing
‘Pipeline Technology’, a new international trade fair that deals
with all types of transmission and industrial pipelines and network
systems. The aim is to showcase applications, product innovations and
services from all the different technological disciplines that
contribute to pipeline engineering in all its forms - in short to
provide complete coverage of the global market in pipeline and network
systems. ‘Pipeline
Technology’ covers not only the transport and distribution of raw
materials such as oil and gas, water, waste water and district heating,
but also the distribution of a wide range of production materials and
media via pipeline systems in industrial processing environments. As
well as transporting media such as gases and liquids, piped systems are
also used for the internal distribution of bulk goods, granulates, fine
dusts and other dry media within processing plants. ‘Pipeline
Technology’ presents services for the design and construction of
pipeline and network systems along with the requisite engineering
components, plus solutions for the automation, control and maintenance
of pipeline installations. Key
visitor target groups include energy supply and waste disposal companies:
raw material suppliers, pipeline and network operators, local
authorities, municipal departments of works and the private water,
industry. Other potential buyers include operators of industrial
processing plants, typically in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
Last but not least, ‘Pipeline Technology’ is also armed at
consultancy firms, financing companies and investors with an interest in
industrial or municipal pipeline or network projects, both onshore and
offshore. Visiting
professionals interested in ‘Pipeline Technology’ include senior
Management personnel, technical directors and buyers for industrial
companies, as well as local-authority planners, environmental officers;
politicians and finance experts. Companion
trade fairs boost international visitor numbers
As part of HANNOVER MESSE 2006:
‘Pipeline
Technology’ is ideally placed to attract an international audience.
Earlier this year around 210,000
visitors
bought tickets for HANNOVER MESSE 2005. A
significant 29
percent
of these came from outside Germany. Future events are expected to
attract growing numbers of trade visitors from fast-growing regions of
the world such as Asia and the CIS
states,
where energy is clearly going to be big business for a long time to
come. Where
Pipeline Technology’ really scores over other events of this kind is
in the parallel showcasing of allied technologies at the other trade
shows and presentations that make up HANNOVER MESSE. There is sure to be
a lot of common ground, for example, between ‘Pipeline Technology’
and ‘Energy’, the leading international trade fair for power
generation and distribution and the automation, control and maintenance
of energy-related plant. Meanwhile visitors with a special interest in
solutions for network management. and control, process management and
control or in plant systems engineering and fittings will also want to
take in INTERKAMA, which is acknowledged as the leading international
exhibition platform for process automation. ‘Pipeline
Technology’ has the official backing of the International Pipeline
& Offshore Contractors Association (IPLOCA). Further
