Reviewing the results of fiscal year 2005, President Alex Deitermann was pleased to note the company's positive growth: With a 42% increase in revenue compared to 2004, PROGNOST Systems GmbH has maintained the strong growth trend of previous years in 2005.

New customers in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, France, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Spain, USA and the Middle East increased exports to nearly 70% of revenue.

The marketing cooperation agreement with the Swiss compressor manufacturer Burckhardt Compression was mentioned as a special benchmark on this road to success. The significant increase in global demand for condition monitoring systems motivated Burckhardt Compression to work with a partner in this sector rather than to pursue in-house development. After an extensive investigation of the relevant systems available, Burckhardt Compression has been recommending the useof PROGNOST®-Systems to their customers worldwide since July 2005.

Initial successes have already been achieved through this joint marketing approach, for example in LDPE Booster Primary and Hyper compressors, as well as for a labyrinth compressor (LABY®) in LNG re-gasification service.

The significant increase in acceptance of the PROGNOST® technology for the monitoring of plunger/piston and diaphragm pumps is also a noteworthy development. "By continuing to focus on and specialize in plunger pumps and process gas reciprocating compressors in the oil, gas, chemical and petrochemical industries, we have successfully established ourselves as the technology leader in the market for intelligent machine diagnostics.

We plan to introduce two additional products, containing leading edge technologies, during the next 12 months. PROGNOST Systems will also continue to expand its leadership in the market of Asset Performance Management for oscillating machines in the future", says Deitermann.
