Information about EMCO WHEATON: The Emco Wheaton Fluid Transfer Division traces its origins back to the early 1900's when the Empire Manufacturing company joined forces with the AW Wheaton group. Since that time the FTD Group has grown rapidly into a global enterprise, supplying products and services to over 100 countries around the world. In 2004, Emco Wheaton (EM) became an integral part of Gardner Denver. Emco Wheaton GmbH was established in Kirchhain, Germany, in 1957. It is currently represented in 80 countries around the world and employs over 170 people. In 1989 the FTD groups Design and Production of Loading Arms were concentrated at Kirchhain.
