TMK Ships Premium Connections to Lukoil TMK, one of the world’s leading producers of steel pipes for the oil and gas industry, today announces that it began shipments of TMK GF and TMK FMC premium connections to Lukoil. The shipments are carried out by TMK Premium Service in conjunction with a cooperation agreement between TMK’s premium division and oil and gas equipment producers AK Korvet and Tyazhpressmash. Under the terms of the agreement, 6,450 tonnes of premium connections will be shipped to Lukoil in November and December 2009. Shipments will consist of 168.28mm OD Tagmet TMK GF casing with wall thickness of 8.94mm and 10.59mm and N80 grade and will also include 244.5mm and 324mm OD Volzhsky and Seversky TMK FMC casing with wall thickness of 8.9mm and 11.0 mm in N80 and K55/J55 grades. These TMK premium tubular products will be used in Lukoil oil fields located in Western Siberia.
