One offshore supply vessel will enter
service in 2009 fitted with SCHOTTEL Twin-Propellers and a SCHOTTEL
retractable Rudderpropeller. The 69-metre OSV designed by Multi
Maritime AS, Norway, will be built by Westcon Contractors AS in
Norway for RUE Riise Underwater Engineering. Main propulsion will be
provided by two SCHOTTEL Twin-Propellers of type STP 1010 with 1,100
kW each. As a retractable bow thruster, a SCHOTTEL Rudderpropeller
of type SRP 550 ZSV (800 kW) was chosen. Commissioning is scheduled
for 2009.
Two AHTS for Tidewater Marine
LLC.,USA, will enter service in 2009. The 51-metre vessels of Conan
Wu design are to be built by Yuexin Shipbuilding in China. To
realize a bollard pull of 100 t the vessels will each be equipped
with two SCHOTTEL Rudderpropellers of type SRP 3030 CP, each with a
designed output of 2916 kW.
SCHOTTEL is to supply propulsion
equipment for three 78.5-metre PSVs designed by Havyard, Norway, of

Supply Service, Faroe Islands. The chosen propulsion systems are two
SCHOTTEL Twin-Propellers of type STP 1212 with 1,600 kW each. Two
vessels will be built by Fjellstrand AS, one by Solstrand Verft AS (both
