closes Flowrepairs acquisition in Ecuador

Compression Technology America Holding, Inc. (HOERBIGER AMH) today, April
3, announced the acquisition of Flowrepairs S.A. in Quito, Ecuador. The
company will in the future operate under the name HOERBIGER de Ecuador
S.A. and will be managed by Juan Carlos Alvarez as Branch Manager. "Today's
closing of Flowrepairs S.A. represents an important milestone for
HOERBIGER,” said Franz Gruber, Regional Manager and CEO of HOERBIGER
AMH. “With the acquisition of Flowrepairs S.A., HOERBIGER now offers
compressor service to all important energy and industrial centers in Latin
American. The expertise brought by both organizations results in a company
that is capable of serving the reciprocating compressor and engine service
market throughout Ecuador." Juan
Carlos Alvarez, former General Manager of Flow Repairs and now Branch
Manager of HOERBIGER de Ecuador, added: "In the three years since
Flowrepairs S.A. was formed, we experienced tremendous growth and have
enjoyed a close partnership with HOERBIGER. Both companies have benefited
from providing service to compressor and engine operators in Ecuador.
