Freudenberg Process Seals consolidates position on Norwegian and Scottish markets

In order to better serve its customers in the oil and gas industry, Freudenberg Process Seals has completed a takeover of the trade and service companies Vestpak in Norway and TBS in Scotland. Vestpak AS has its headquarters near Stavanger in Norway and specializes in seals that are used on oil platforms and in gas pipelines. With four locations dotted along the Norwegian coastline, revenues of approximately € 12.5 million, and a total of 50 employees, Vestpak supplies the top companies in the Norwegian oil and gas sector. To ensure continuity for both the workforce and the company’s customers, no changes will be made to either the staff or management team at Vestpak. 

Freudenberg Process Seals has also strengthened its position on the Scottish market. The Aberdeen-based company TBS employs ten people and supplies companies in the Scottish oil and gas industry with seals. “We are delighted that the staff at both Vestpak and TBS will be helping us provide our customers in the oil and gas industry with both top-quality products and first-class service,” says Stephan Kletschke, managing director of Freudenberg Process Seals
