The merger of KCA Drilling and Deutag AG on 01st October 2001 to form KCA DEUTAG created the largest offshore platform drilling contractor in the UK sector of the North Sea, one of the largest international land drilling operators outside North America, and a world leader in drilling rig design, construction and operation. From its beginnings in 1888 KCA DEUTAG has worked onshore in all continents of the world. In addition to the international track record dating back more than 100 years KCA DEUTAG is believed to be unique in the size and scale of the technical supporting services, which are available in-house. |

There is an extensive capability in drilling
facility design, upgrade and modification and in drilling engineering and
integrated project management both in Bad Bentheim (Germany) and Aberdeen
(Scotland).
