Corratherm - the TA-Luft compliant gasket with high potential for standardization and cost savings

The Corratherm gasket launched by Burgmann Industries GmbH & Co KG, Wolfratshausen, Germany is a high-grade gasket designed to comply with the stringent TA-Luft directives with regard to volatile emissions. Corratherm is suitable for a wide range of applications. Its good compensation and adaptation capabilities make it ideal in particular for use in old equipment and for TA-Luft applications, especially where toxic, combustible and environmentally harmful media are involved. The gasket is resistant to practically all media, including aggressive types.

Made of corrugated high-grade stainless steel coated on both sides with flexible Statotherm® graphite foil, this high-quality gasket is the perfect answer for flange joints with a level sealing face. lt guarantees a high degree of gas tightness, stability under pressure, compressibility and excellent resilience even at high temperatures.

An internal beading helps to guarantee high bfow-out safety. The graphite coatings enable the Corratherm to be removed from the flange without trace (no sticking). Handling is easy and the material is harmless to health. Maintenance is minimal and retightening unnecessary - "Once tight - always fight."

From the same range of products comes the Corrachem-T gasket, which is coated with pure PTFE instead of graphite. This version is ideal for applications up to 260 °C in the chemical and pharmaceutical applications.

Summary of features:

• high degree of gas tightness

• high stabile under pressure, good compressibility and excellent resilience even at a constant operating temperature of 400 °C

• high blow-out safety with internal beading • no sticking to the flange

• no embrittlement or ageing

• easy handling characteristics
