Bornemann: Products & Applications
|
Twin Screw Pumps
|
Bornemann twin screw pumps are self-priming, double ended positive displacement pumps with external timing gears and bearings. Manufactured in over 80 sizes, their design provides complete axial balancing of the rotating elements and eliminates all metal-to-metal contact within the pump. They can handle virtually any non homogeneous fluid, regardless of viscosity lubricity or abrasiveness e.g. seawater, bitumen, molasses, lime, acid, caustic solution or hydrocarbon.

Eccentric Screw Pumps |
Bornemann
eccentric screw pumps are compact, rugged and powerful. They are available
in vaoius power ratings and combinations of materials. They have proved
their value worldwide in public and industrial waste water treatment and
industrial disposal. They are an optimum solution to conveying tasks in the
chemical and petrochemical industries, the food, cosmetic and paper
industries, in building construction, mining and general industry -
everywhere where the conveyed product is too viscous and flows too poorly to
be pumped by other types of pumps.

Multiphase Range MW |
Principle:
Ridgid Construction due to welded casing, pressure rating up to ANSI
300lbs (up to 50 bar operational pressure) simple 'in field' maintenance
due to replaceable liner, optimal material selection due to engineered
rotos, non contact pumping elements, forced lubrication system and / or
cooling system not required, single acting mechanical seals with pressure
lesse buffer fluid system and API plan 32
Advantages for Users: Old onshore field with low wellhead pressures, new onshore field developments, specially with high viscous crude oil, steam injected fields, replacement of conventional separation technology onshore.

Multiphase Range MPC |
Principle:
Ridgid Construction due to welded casing, pressure rating up to ANSI
1500lbs (up to 200 bar operational pressure), no restriction of the inlet
pressure due to symmetrical pump casing, simple 'in field' maintenance due
to replaceable liner, optimal material selection due to engineered rotos,
non contact pumping elements, forced lubrication system and / or cooling
system not required, single acting mechanical seals or patented smart seal
system for absolutely leakage free applications.
Advantages for Users: Old onshore field with higher wellhead pressures, new onshore field developments, specially with high gas volume fractions, wet gas compression, replacement of conventional separation technology onshore.

Branches & Applications: Tank Terminals |
|
Bornemann pumps have a wide range of
applications in tank storage areas. They can be employed at all places where
a high suction capacity is required.
|
| Oil Production & Refining |
|
As displacement pumps, Bornemann screw spindle
pumps are excellently suited for pumping the mixtures of crude oil, gas, and
ultrafine solids occuring in oil production They can be used both onshore
and offshore.
|
| Petrochemical |
|
Bornemann screw spindle and eccentric screw
pumps are the ideal solution to conveying tasks in these plants, in which
low and highly viscous products must be conveyed.
|
| Marine & Shipbuilding Offshore |
|
Bornemann Screw pumps have proven their value world-wide as loading pumps for tankers and on all ships at engine room pumps to supply the main engines. Bornemann eccentric screw pumps are used as sludge pumps, bilge pumps and as pumps to feed oil extractors. |
